A new Vancouver, British Columbia, radio station has hit the airwaves. It's all-Orca, all the time. Orcas are killer whales and ORCA-FM is broadcasting the sounds the whales make when they communicate with their pods. (From 1999 - may not be present)

Center for Whale Research
Center for Whale Research also has a live webcam. The camera is mounted on our lookout deck and is pointed out over the Haro Strai. The Southern Resident Orcas - J, K, and L pods travel along this coast annually from May - Oct.

North Gulf Oceanic Society, killer whales of Alaska
NGOS is a federally recognized non-profit research and education organization that specializes in long-term marine mammal research. Our primary projects are the study of the killer whale population off the coast of Alaska and of the humpback whales in Prince William Sound and Kenai Fjords, Alaska. Listening to sounds requires RealPlayer.
